Respect Aged Care is committed to providing exceptional care and creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents. We are currently looking for a Part Time Cleaning Service Assistant to join our team at the St John's facility in Wangaratta, VIC. This role is vital to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ensuring a hygienic and safe living space for our residents.

Position Details:

• Part-Time Position (must be available to work across all shifts)

• Flexibility for a rewarding role within an aged care environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard of hygiene and safety.

• Follow infection control and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.

• Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas as required.

• Ensure that cleaning supplies are appropriately stored and maintained.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor
  
  Skills and Experience:

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred, but not essential.

• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

• A friendly, compassionate, and respectful attitude toward residents.

• A valid National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
