Why You Will Love Working With Us

  • A workplace culture that celebrates people, progress, and purpose
  • Meaningful work where you see the impact you make every day

  • Save tax by salary packaging up to $15,900 of living expenses and a further $2650 for meals out and holiday accommodation!

About the Role

At Respect, we are proud to provide high-quality, person-centred care at Cooinda — a modern aged care home with a strong reputation in the Lithgow community. With beautifully refurbished facilities, state-of-the-art amenities and a supportive team culture, Cooinda offers a welcoming environment where residents and staff feel valued. Our home provides residential aged care, respite, palliative and dementia care services, with a strong focus on compassion, respect and creating meaningful connections every day.

We are seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our aged care team in a part-time capacity, offering shifts across mornings, afternoons, and nights.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and care staff to support clinical outcomes, monitor resident wellbeing, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment where dignity guides everyday practice.

This is a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful connections with residents and their families while being part of a supportive team that values professionalism, collaboration, and ongoing development. If you are adaptable and committed to delivering thoughtful, resident-focused care across a rotating roster, we would love to hear from you.

No two days are the same! As an Enrolled Nurse you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive admission and ongoing assessments with residents and families to identify care needs and support individualised care planning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation that reflects care delivery and resident outcomes.
  • Administer medications safely and ensure correct handling, storage, and record-keeping.
  • Monitor residents’ health, report changes promptly to Registered Nurses, and support the care team in delivering safe, person-centred care.
  • Participate in team handovers, care planning discussions, and initiatives that promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.

About You

You’ll thrive with us if you have:

  • Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in aged care.
  • Strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to monitor, assess, and respond to changes in residents’ health.
  • Knowledge of residential care practices, care planning, clinical documentation, and the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
  • Understanding of aged care accreditation processes and a commitment to providing safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
  • Current National Police Certificate and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain), required immunisations, and a flexible, professional approach to shift work.

Perks & Benefits

  • As a not-for-profit you can reduce your tax by salary packaging up to $15,900 per year for living expenses, bills, rent, mortgage and groceries. Take advantage of a further $2,650 to pay for meals out or holiday accommodation
  • Training and development pathways
  • Supportive leaders who are onsite
  • A friendly, down-to-earth workplace
  • Opportunity to build a long-term career in aged care
