In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our residents receive high-quality meals, contributing to their well-being and overall experience within our care facility. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation, portioning, and delivery of meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.

• Ensure all food is served according to dietary requirements and individual preferences.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and dining areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

• Assist with washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.

• Support the kitchen team with stock management, including receiving deliveries and organizing supplies.

• Ensure all food handling and storage practices meet safety and hygiene regulations.

• Communicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure their meal preferences and dietary needs are met.

Key Requirements:

• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Previous experience in food service or a similar role is highly desirable

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment

• Strong communication skills and a positive, caring attitude
