People and Culture Business Analyst

  • Remote, TAS, Australia
  • Part time

Are you passionate about using data to make a real impact in people’s lives? We're on the lookout for a People and Culture Business Analyst to join our dynamic and mission-led organisation, focused on delivering exceptional care to older Australians.

This permanent part-time role (3 days a week) offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to help shape workforce strategies that support growth, compliance and culture across our growing aged care network.

About the Role

As the People and Culture Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in building and tracking insightful HR metrics and dashboards that inform strategic decision-making across the business. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you’ll collaborate closely with P&C teams (WHS, OD, Recruitment), as well as Finance, Operations, and Quality, to ensure the organisation is guided by timely, accurate and actionable data.

You’ll support business planning, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead data integrations linked to new systems or acquisitions — all while helping ensure that our people strategies align with our vision: A world where the elderly feel respected, valued and enjoy a quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards using tools like Power BI
  • Build and report on key People & Culture KPIs from multiple systems (HRIS, payroll, recruitment)
  • Design and automate reports that provide clear and actionable insights
  • Ensure data is current, accurate and aligned with organisational priorities
  • Partner with P&C, Finance, Operations, Quality and other stakeholders
  • Translate people data into insights that support workforce planning, compliance, learning and development
  • Provide insights and recommendations on trends, risks and opportunities
  • Regularly review and enhance reporting frameworks and processes
  • Contribute to the development and roll-out of new HR and safety systems
  • Support major integration projects related to business acquisitions
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis and support strategic initiatives across the business

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, HR, Data Science, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of procurement/analytics experience, with at least 3 years in healthcare or aged care
  • Strong background managing medical/allied health vendors, procurement systems and contract administration
  • Proven understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Modern Slavery compliance
  • Advanced user of Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills

 Desired Attributes

  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Strong commercial acumen and systems thinking
  • Able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Passionate about innovation, data, and people-centred outcomes

What We Offer

  • Flexible part-time hours
  • Remote working options
  • A values-driven culture that truly puts people first
  • Opportunity to contribute to meaningful aged care reform
  • Scope to shape reporting frameworks and drive innovation
