Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide High-Quality Care: Deliver compassionate, person-centered care to clients living in their own homes, ensuring their health and comfort needs are met.
  • Clinical Excellence: Administer clinical treatments, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to best practices and aged care standards.
  • Collaborate with a Caring Team: Work closely with clinicians, case managers, support staff, and clients and their families to create individualised care plans and improve clinical care outcomes.
  • Promote Well-Being: Assist in promoting physical and emotional well-being for clients, while providing support and guidance to their families.
  • Ongoing Professional Development: Take part in continuous learning and development opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry practices and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration.
  • Previous experience in an aged care or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Sound understanding of clinical practices, treatment protocols, and aged care standards, and proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely clinical records and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to elderly clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and support staff.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must hold valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • A valid police check to meet compliance requirements
