About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our friendly team at Cooinda Aged Care in Lithgow on a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave until August 2026.

As a Registered Nurse with Respect, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality clinical care, supporting residents’ wellbeing, and ensuring they feel valued and respected every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred clinical care in line with best practice and aged care standards.

• Administer medications, manage care plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

• Supervise and support care staff to deliver safe and effective resident care.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Maintain compliance with all organisational and regulatory requirements.

• Promote a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement.

About You
You are a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to providing exceptional care. You are confident in your clinical practice and bring empathy, professionalism, and strong communication skills to every interaction.

To be successful, you will have:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

• Previous experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting (preferred but not essential).

• Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.

• A commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement.

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check, and up-to-date vaccinations (or willingness to obtain).
