Respect Aged Care is currently seeking a Permanent Part-Time Administration Assistant to join our dedicated team at Mt St Vincent, Tasmania. We’re looking for a reliable and organised individual who is flexible and available to work across a range of shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability. About the Role

The Administration Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring our care teams are well-supported through accurate administrative processes, timely communication, and effective coordination. This role will work closely with leadership teams to assist with staff rostering, manage general administrative duties, and contribute to the overall smooth operation of our home.

 

Key Duties

  • Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and responding to internal queries.
  • Maintain accurate staff records and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with staff rostering, availability tracking, and leave coordination.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes where required.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused workplace culture.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in administrative support, preferably within aged care or a similar environment.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in rostering software (e.g. Humanforce, or similar systems).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
  • To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
