Based in the coastal town of Portland, located in Southwest Victoria, this role is ideal for someone wanting to step away from city living and into a position where your experience is recognised, valued, and has real impact.
We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to join a well-established Residential Aged Care Community. This is a great opportunity for a senior clinical leader who is passionate about delivering high quality aged care, leading strong teams, and driving positive outcomes for residents.

No two days are the same! As Care Manager you will:
- Lead the delivery of high-quality clinical and person-centred care
- Oversee clinical governance, compliance, audits and reporting
- Support accreditation readiness and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor, guide and develop nursing and care teams
- Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and families
- Assist with workforce planning, rostering and financial oversight
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
About You
You’ll thrive with us if you have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Residential Aged Care in nursing management role.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance and age care compliance
- Well-developed clinical knowledge and skills in nursing practice.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of older Australians
- Current National Police Certificate (or willingness/ability to obtain).
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willingness/ability to obtain).
This hands-on leadership position is best suited to someone who enjoys being present on the floor, supporting their team and driving a strong clinical culture.

- $123,000 – $133,000 + superannuation (depending on experience)
