The Opportunity

The Care Manager will play a critical leadership role in delivering clinical and operational excellence. Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role is responsible for:

• Planning, assigning, and overseeing staff duties and resident care delivery.
• Ensuring compliance with clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
• Providing strong leadership and mentoring within a resident-focused environment.
• Managing human, material, and financial resources efficiently and in line with budgetary guidelines.
• Supporting a positive team culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
• Leading and contributing to continuous improvement and accreditation processes.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in aged care, including experience in clinical governance, wound care, and palliative care.
• Previous Care Manager experience highly regarded.
• Sound clinical knowledge aligned with contemporary best practices.
• Strong understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and funding instruments (e.g. AN-ACC).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check: Mandatory for roles involving NDIS services.
• Clinical System Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic care management systems.
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements.

Desirable:

• Completion of Infection Control Training.
• Postgraduate Qualifications - While not mandatory is desirable, a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology, Management, or a related field is highly regarded.
