  • Oversee care planning in collaboration with residents, families and clinical teams.
  • Support staff development through training, performance reviews, mentoring and education initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, external providers and community stakeholders.
  • Remain responsive to operational requirements, including after-hours availability when required.

About You

You’re a confident and compassionate clinical leader who knows that great aged care starts with great people.

You’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Nursing (Registered Nurse)
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential aged care.
  • Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act principles, documentation standards, residents’ rights, funding instruments and relevant legislation.
  • Well-developed clinical knowledge and contemporary nursing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build trust and engage effectively with residents, families and staff.
  • A current National Police Certificate, or willingness and ability to obtain one.
  • Previous nursing leadership and/or accreditation experience is desirable.

Most importantly, you’ll bring energy, empathy, integrity and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of older Australians.
