Respect Aged Care is seeking an experienced Care Manager to lead the clinical team at our St John’s facility in Wangaratta, Victoria.

As Care Manager, you will provide strong clinical leadership and oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the home. Working closely with the Facility Manager and a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will ensure residents receive the highest standard of care while cultivating a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Lead, mentor, and support clinical staff to deliver exceptional care outcomes
Ensure compliance with aged care standards, clinical governance, and accreditation requirements
Foster trusted relationships with residents, families, and allied health professionals
Drive continuous improvement in clinical practices and service delivery
Support staff education, training, and professional development
Conduct audits, assessments, and reviews to ensure resident wellbeing
Collaborate with the wider Respect Aged Care network to share expertise and enhance service quality
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Experience as a Care Manager or Clinical Coordinator within aged care.
Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation process
Proven leadership and staff mentoring capabilities
Excellent communication, organisation, and documentation skills
Proficient in aged care systems (e.g. LeeCare, or similar)
A resident-focused mindset and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
