Respect Aged Care is currently seeking a committed Registered Nurse to take on a leadership role at our Tyler Village home in Launceston, with full-time availability required to meet operational demands as needed.

The Opportunity

The Care Manager will play a critical leadership role in delivering clinical and operational excellence. Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role is responsible for:

  • Planning, assigning, and overseeing staff duties and resident care delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Providing strong leadership and mentoring within a resident-focused environment.
  • Managing human, material, and financial resources efficiently and in line with budgetary guidelines.
  • Supporting a positive team culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Leading and contributing to continuous improvement and accreditation processes.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in residential aged care.
  • Proven nursing management experience.
  • Sound clinical knowledge aligned with contemporary best practices.
  • Strong understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and funding instruments (e.g. AN-ACC).
  • Experience with accreditation and quality processes.
  • Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements.

Desirable:

  • Completion of Infection Control Training.
  • Availability to flex into full-time hours as required.
