Looking for a leadership role where your skills actually make a difference? As our Chef Supervisor, you will oversee the full operation of our aged care kitchen, leading a committed team to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals that support the health and wellbeing of our residents. You’ll oversee daily operations, menu planning, and food preparation, while maintaining hygiene, safety, and quality standards. Proven experience in aged care as a Chef Supervisor is highly regarded and will be considered an advantage.

No two days are the same! As Chef Supervisor you will:
Supervise daily kitchen operations in an aged care setting, delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that meet resident needs
Manage menu planning, food preparation, service, and quality control while maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
Order stock and manage inventory, suppliers, and cost control to ensure efficient kitchen operations and minimal waste
Lead, roster, delegate, and support kitchen staff, ensuring effective workflows, coverage, and a positive team culture
Previous experience as a Chef Supervisor essential (aged care experience highly regarded) with relevant trade qualifications; full-time, Monday to Friday role offering excellent work–life balance
You’ll thrive with us if you have:
Trade-qualified Chef with proven experience in a Chef Supervisor or similar leadership role
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, delegate tasks, and manage daily kitchen operations
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, allergen management, and WHS compliance
Experience with stock ordering, inventory control, and cost management
Ability to manage or contribute to staff rostering and workflow planning
Excellent organisational, time-management, and communication skills
Capacity to work autonomously while collaborating with wider teams
Understanding of nutritional requirements and consistency in food quality (aged care or healthcare experience highly regarded)
