What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and manage all catering operations across the facility
Plan nutritious, culturally sensitive menus in consultation with residents, dietitians, RNs, and leadership
Supervise and mentor catering staff, ensuring high performance and a positive team culture
Oversee the implementation and review of the Food Safety Program and ensure accreditation compliance
Maintain stock control, supplier relationships, and budget alignment
Prepare and cook meals to meet individual dietary needs, including texture-modified diets
Handle feedback and ensure resident satisfaction with meals and service
What You Bring
Essential:
Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent
Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Food Handling qualification
Strong experience in hospitality, ideally in volume food preparation
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
Desirable:
Experience in residential aged care or healthcare settings
Medium-level computer literacy
A heart for working with older people and delivering service with empathy
