We are seeking a Chef Supervisor to lead our catering team at Respect’s Hervey Bay facility, ensuring our residents enjoy nutritious, high-quality meals prepared with care and attention.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage catering operations across the facility
• Plan nutritious, culturally considerate menus in consultation with residents, dietitians, and nursing staff
• Mentor and support catering staff, building a positive and high-performing team culture
• Oversee the Food Safety Program and ensure all compliance requirements are met
• Manage stock control, supplier relationships, and budget considerations
• Prepare and cook meals to suit a range of dietary needs, including texture-modified diets
• Listen to resident feedback and ensure satisfaction with meals and service

What you will bring:

• Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent
• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Food Handling qualification
• Solid experience in hospitality, ideally in high-volume food preparation
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

It would be an advantage if you have:

• Experience in residential aged care or healthcare settings
• Intermediate computer skills
• A genuine passion for working with older people and delivering service with empathy
