About the Role
As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Working within a residential aged care setting, you’ll be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, shared living spaces, and facilities while maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control.
This Part Time role suits a reliable and flexible team member available to work weekends, who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of a comfortable, home-like environment.
No two days are the same! As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you will:
- Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lounges, dining rooms, corridors, and staff areas
- Safely handle, use, and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to workplace procedures
- Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines
- Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality standards
