About the Role

We are looking for a casual Cleaning Services Assistant / Laundry Services Assistant to join the team at Cooinda in Lithgow. This role supports the delivery of high-quality cleaning and laundry services, helping maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents.

You will work as part of a supportive services team, assisting with cleaning resident rooms and shared areas, managing laundry duties including washing, drying, folding and distributing linen and clothing, and maintaining hygiene and infection control standards throughout the home.

About You

• Previous experience in cleaning, laundry services, aged care or a similar environment highly regarded.

• Genuine interest in working in aged care.

• Understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene and infection control practices.

• Ability to safely handle cleaning equipment and laundry duties.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage a varied workload and work as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work across different shifts.

• Current National Police Certificate.
