Respect Tongala Memorial in Tongala, VIC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Enrolled Nurse to join our supportive aged care team. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians, we would love to hear from you. Flexibility to work across all shifts Monday to Friday is required.

About the role: As the Enrolled Nurse you will work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and care staff to support clinical outcomes, monitor resident wellbeing, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and welcoming care environment where dignity guides everyday practice.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Compile a comprehensive history from residents and/or family members to identify care needs by participating in resident admissions and ongoing assessments.

  • Maintain a high level of documentation which accurately reflects care delivery.

  • Assist to implement, contribute to and evaluate resident care plans as directed by your supervisor.

  • Administer medications to residents and assume responsibility for correct ordering, storage and documentation procedures in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

  • Successful completion of a minimum Diploma of Nursing or equivalent.

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  • Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care.

  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).

  • Knowledge of the standards required by the government for the delivery of aged care.

  • Strong clinical and documentation skills.

  • An understanding of the aged care accreditation process.

  • Leadership skills.
