Finance Business Partner

Are you a results-driven finance professional with a knack for turning numbers into strategy? We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team at Respect, a leading not-for-profit aged care provider committed to delivering high-quality services across Australia.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on providing insightful analysis, improving processes, and supporting operational decision-making. You’ll work closely with our Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, playing a key part in helping us deliver on our mission to support older Australians with respect, dignity and care.

This is a full-time, remote working role.

About the Role

As Finance Business Partner, you’ll support the delivery of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive business performance. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure high-quality, compliant financial reporting across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

-Prepare monthly management reports with analysis and commentary
-Assist with cashflow forecasting and budget preparation
-Analyse financial performance and cost centre trends
-Provide insights to help business units make informed decisions
-Support with benchmarking and industry reporting
-Assist with internal and external audit processes
-Participate in systems and process improvement projects
-Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver meaningful financial advice

What You Will Bring

  • A tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce with an accounting major
  • Progress towards or completion of CPA/CA qualification
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a management accountant or similar role
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience in aged care or not-for-profit organisations (desirable)
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar analytics tools (desirable)
  • A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
