About the Role

As a Food Services Assistant, you'll work alongside our Chef or Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents, while maintaining high food safety standards and keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, organised, and welcoming.
This is a casual position, and the successful candidate must be available to work both AM and PM shifts on a rotating roster, as required.

No two days are the same! As Food Service Assistant you will:
- Support menu planning to reflect residents’ needs, preferences, and dietary requirements.
- Prepare, serve, and present meals and refreshments in line with the Food Safety Program.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, including general cleaning and safe food handling practices.
- Monitor and record food safety requirements, including temperatures and goods received.
- Deliver meals with a friendly, respectful approach and report any food or beverage concerns to the Registered Nurse in Charge.
About You
You’ll thrive with us if you have:
- Completion of a Food Handling Course
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in residential aged care feed services.
