The Role
This role involves helping our kitchen team prepare and serve food and drinks to residents. You’ll be working under the guidance of our Chef/Cook and play an important part in making sure meals are delivered safely on time, and to the standard our residents deserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in menu planning to align with resident preferences

• Prepare, serve, and deliver meals and beverages in accordance with FSP standards

• Perform general kitchen cleaning duties and support FSP monitoring tasks (e.g. temperature checks, receipting goods)

• Ensure friendly, timely meal service to all residents

• Report any concerns to the Registered Nurse in Charge

• Carry out other tasks as directed, within your skill set
  
  

What we’re looking for:

• A completed Food Handling Certificate

• A current (or willing to obtain) National Police Check

• Experience working in aged care food services, hospitality or catering

• Someone who meets the Aged Care Worker Screening requirements
