Food Services Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a casual Food Services Assistant to join the team at Tyler Village in Prospect Vale. This role supports the delivery of quality food services, helping provide nutritious and enjoyable meals for residents in a welcoming aged care environment.

You will work as part of a supportive food services team, assisting with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning kitchen and dining areas, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. You will also help ensure residents receive meals that meet their individual needs and preferences.

About You

• Previous experience in food services, aged care, hospitality or a similar environment highly regarded.

• Genuine interest in working in aged care.

• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Ability to assist with meal preparation, serving and kitchen cleaning duties.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage a varied workload and work as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work across different shifts.

• Current National Police Certificate.
