About the Role
Located in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland, Respect Aged Care in Maleny is home to a close-knit and supportive team who are passionate about delivering quality care. Set in the welcoming township of Maleny, the home offers a relaxed pace of life, scenic surrounds, and a strong sense of community. It’s an environment where teamwork is valued, people support one another, and staff enjoy a rewarding role alongside a balanced regional lifestyle.
In this multi - skilled role, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our aged care home through food services, laundry, and cleaning. Your work helps create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment where our residents feel respected, supported, and truly at home.
No two days are the same! As a Hotel Services All -Rounder, you will:
- Deliver cleaning services in line with established schedules, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Perform routine cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, waste management, and restocking supplies
- Assist with laundry services, including safe handling, washing, storage, and rotation of resident clothing and linen
- Support food services through preparation, serving, and friendly delivery of meals and refreshments
- Follow infection control, food safety, and workplace safety procedures at all times
- Accurately complete required records, including cleaning schedules and food safety checks
- Report any concerns relating to residents, food services, or safety to the Registered Nurse in Charge
About You
