We are currently seeking caring and organised Laundry Services Assistant to join our team at Tongala Memorial, Victoria. As a Laundry Services Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality laundry services to support residents, visitors and staff. You will help ensure clothing and linen are handled with care, cleanliness and respect, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.
Laundry Services
Collect, sort, wash, dry and fold resident laundry and facility linen
Ensure correct and safe use of laundry equipment and chemicals
Label, handle and return personal items to residents with care and attention
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area
General Responsibilities
Follow organisational laundry, infection control and WHS policies and procedures
Monitor and report maintenance, equipment or safety concerns
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support resident comfort and wellbeing
Uphold Respect’s values in all interactions with residents, families and staff
You are dependable, hardworking and take pride in delivering high-quality work. You understand that clean clothing and linen are essential to residents’ dignity, comfort and overall wellbeing.
You will bring:

Commitment to infection control and workplace safety
Desirable (but not essential):
Previous experience in laundry, cleaning, hospitality or aged care
