About the Role

As a Laundry Services Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality laundry services to support residents, visitors and staff. You will help ensure clothing and linen are handled with care, cleanliness and respect, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Laundry Services

• Collect, sort, wash, dry and fold resident laundry and facility linen

• Ensure correct and safe use of laundry equipment and chemicals

• Label, handle and return personal items to residents with care and attention

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area

General Responsibilities

• Follow organisational laundry, infection control and WHS policies and procedures

• Monitor and report maintenance, equipment or safety concerns

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support resident comfort and wellbeing

• Uphold Respect’s values in all interactions with residents, families and staff

About You

You are dependable, hardworking and take pride in delivering high-quality work. You understand that clean clothing and linen are essential to residents’ dignity, comfort and overall wellbeing.

You will bring:

Desirable (but not essential):

• Previous experience in laundry, cleaning, hospitality or aged care
