About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Casual Maintenance Officer to join our team at Gracemere Gardens, Rockhampton QLD. This role will focus mainly on gardening and grounds maintenance, while also supporting general maintenance tasks across the home as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain neat, tidy and safe gardens and grounds.
• Support lawn care, watering, weeding and general outdoor maintenance.
• Assist with basic preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Help maintain high standards across resident rooms and public areas.
• Keep work areas clean, safe and well organised.
• Support the wider maintenance team as required.

What You’ll Bring

• Gardening or general maintenance experience.
• Genuine interest in working in aged care.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload.
• Relevant trade background highly regarded, but not essential.
• Current National Police Certificate.
