What you’ll be doing

• Keeping gardens, outdoor areas and pathways neat, safe and welcoming
• Tackling general handyman and maintenance jobs around the site
• Helping keep buildings, equipment and communal areas in great condition
• Identifying maintenance issues and letting the right people know before small problems become big ones
• Helping with maintenance and gardening supplies and keeping things organised
• Keeping maintenance records and schedules up to date
• Supporting essential safety and compliance requirements
• Coordinating with contractors when required
• Keeping site vehicles clean, organised and ready to go
• Providing occasional on-call support when needed
• Stepping in to cover planned leave and short-notice absences

What we’re looking for

Most importantly, you’re practical, dependable and take pride in your work.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Experience with gardening and general handyman/maintenance work
• A practical, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
• Good attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean, safe and well presented
• Flexibility to pick up casual shifts, including at short notice when required
• A current Driver’s Licence
• Experience in maintenance, facilities, property upkeep or a similar role
• A relevant trade qualification is highly regarded
• Experience working in aged care or a similar environment is desirable
• A current National Police Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• A willingness to meet Aged Care Worker Screening requirements
