As a Casual Personal Care Assistant at Baw Baw Views, you will play an important role in supporting our residents to live a life well-lived through compassionate, person-centred care.
Working closely with our nurses and wider care team, you'll provide practical and emotional support while helping residents maintain their dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Providing personal care including assistance with showering, dressing and grooming
Supporting residents with mobility and safe manual handling
Assisting with meals, hydration and daily living activities
Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families
Observing and reporting changes in residents' health and wellbeing
Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
Following individual care plans and maintaining accurate documentation
Supporting residents to participate in activities and maintain their independence

We're looking for a Personal Care Assistant who is compassionate, reliable and passionate about supporting older people to live their best lives.
To be considered, you will have:
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
Previous experience in aged care or a similar role is desirable
A genuine passion for providing quality care to older people
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, team-focused attitude
The ability to work across a variety of shifts
An understanding of person-centred care
Current National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain one
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or the ability to obtain one
