The Opportunity:
We're on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Quality Compliance Manager to join our Home Care team at Respect. As a valued member of our dynamic quality and compliance team, you'll be pivotal in overseeing Respect's quality risk and compliance frameworks to ensure safe, effective and person-centred care in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Day to day you will oversee the Quality Compliance team to ensure regular visits and audits are in line with clinical governance framework, maintain and oversee our Quality Management System, conduct regular audits and spot check, support deliver and coordinate training on compliance, policies and continuous improvements and much more.
The successful candidate will use their high-level experience and knowledge in a similar role to achieve best practice standards, while providing strong leadership in a Home Care focused care environment.
Requirements:
Essential -
Successful completion of a minimum bachelor's degree in nursing.
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
High level ability to utilise information management and computer systems.
Working knowledge of the requirements of the Quality Agency Standards, Specified Care and Service Principles of the Aged Care Act, Documentation Standards, Residents Rights, Aged Care Funding Instrument and other relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practices.
Previous experience in management/leadership roles.
NDIS Worker Screening (or ability to acquire).
Desirable -
Formal qualification in quality management frameworks.
Demonstrated experience, high level working knowledge and understanding of clinical governance and risk management.
Experience in both Residential Aged Care and Home Care.
To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
