Coates Aged Care Home is a warm, 27-bed residence set among charming garden views in the historic town of St Arnaud. With a close-knit, family-style atmosphere, modern ensuite rooms, tailored care services and a dedicated team available 24/7, Coates offers personalised support, comfort and community at every stage of life.
We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse to join our dedicated aged care team. This role is ideal for an RN who is committed to delivering safe, contemporary, person-centred care while supporting residents to live with dignity, respect and belonging.
No two days are the same! As a Registered Nurse, you will:
Deliver safe, evidence-based clinical nursing care to residents
Complete resident admissions, assessments, care plans and clinical documentation
Administer medications and manage medication documentation and storage
Support ACFI assessments and clinical funding documentation
Supervise, support and delegate to Enrolled Nurses and Care Assistants
Liaise with GPs, families and allied health professionals
Ensure compliance with aged care standards, infection control and WHS requirements
Actively participate in quality improvement, training and professional development
You’ll thrive with us if you have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Understanding of aged care standards and clinical documentation requirements
National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain)
Experience in residential aged care
Strong leadership, communication and documentation skills
