Key Duties:

  • Take the lead in providing clinical oversight, ensuring safe, high-quality care for every resident.
  • Use your skills to manage complex wounds and support residents living with complex health conditions.
  • Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team, bringing a collaborative approach to care.
  • Advocate for residents and play an active role in driving positive change and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and guide staff in delivering individualised care plans.
  • Ensure the safe and effective administration of medications, including the management of scheduled medicines.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering professional growth and confidence in clinical practice.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in aged care as a Registered Nurse. 
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care.
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check ( or ability to acquire)
  • Strong clinical and documentation skills.
