Imagine finishing every shift knowing you've genuinely changed someone's day. At Respect, we believe aged care is about more than clinical excellence—it's about creating moments of comfort, dignity, connection, and joy. Every conversation, every smile, every act of compassion matters.

Respect Master Lodge is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our supportive team on a Part-time basis.

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, competent, and contemporary clinical nursing care to residents within the scope of practice as determined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Reporting directly to the Care Manager and General Manager, the Registered Nurse plays an integral role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while supporting the wellbeing, dignity, and independence of residents.

Key Duties

  • Compile a comprehensive history from residents and/or family members to identify care needs through resident admissions and ongoing assessments.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation that reflects care delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate resident care plans, and assist with admission assessments.
  • Provide direct clinical care to residents as required, including (but not limited to) personal hygiene, pain management, massage therapy, and participating in GP rounds.
  • Administer medications and ensure correct ordering, storage, and documentation procedures are followed in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional resident outcomes.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, families, and colleagues.

Essential Requirements

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Current National Police Certificate (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Understanding of government standards and legislative requirements for the delivery of aged care.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
  • An understanding of the aged care accreditation process.

To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.

Why You'll Love Working at Respect

  • As a not-for-profit organisation, salary package up to $15,900 per year for living expenses, including rent, mortgage, bills, and groceries.
  • Access an additional $2,650 annually for meals and entertainment, including dining out and holiday accommodation.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Supportive leaders who are based onsite.
  • A friendly, collaborative, and down-to-earth workplace.
  • Opportunity to build a rewarding long-term career in aged care.
