About the role
As a Food Services Assistant, you’ll work with our Chef or Cook to prepare and serve nutritious, well-presented meals for residents. You’ll support our Food Safety Program and help create a friendly, welcoming dining experience every day.
Key Duties
Support menu planning to reflect residents’ needs, preferences, and dietary requirements.
Prepare, serve, and present meals and refreshments in accordance with the Food Safety Program.
Maintain high hygiene standards through general cleaning.
Monitor and record food safety details, including temperatures and goods received.
Deliver meals and refreshments with a friendly and respectful approach.
Report any food or beverage concerns to the Registered Nurse in Charge.
Essential Requirements:
Completion of a Food Handling Course
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Previous experience in residential aged care feed services.
