Do you have experience in aged care catering? We're currently seeking a part time Catering Services Assistants with Immediate start opportunities available.

About the Role: Under the direction of the Chef/Cook, the Food Services Assistant is responsible to contribute to the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Food Safety Program (FSP); and the provision of a variety of quality food and beverages to meet the resident’s individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

Food Services

• Assist with meal preparation and plating

• Deliver meals and beverages to residents

• Support kitchen operations and maintain food safety standards

• Ensure compliance with infection control and hygiene procedures

Cleaning

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the facility

• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures

Laundry

• Assist with washing, drying, folding and distributing laundry

• Maintain linen supplies and ensure appropriate handling of personal items

• Operate laundry equipment safely and effectively

Essential Requirements:

• Food Handling Course.
• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
• Experience in residential aged care food services.
• To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
