Are you an experienced Chef or Cook with a passion for leading teams and making a meaningful impact on the lives of others? We’re looking for a Chef Supervisor to lead our Chaffey House Catering Department in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that truly matter, every single day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage all catering operations across the facility
  • Plan nutritious, culturally sensitive menus in consultation with residents, dietitians, RNs, and leadership
  • Supervise and mentor catering staff, ensuring high performance and a positive team culture
  • Oversee the implementation and review of the Food Safety Program and ensure accreditation compliance
  • Maintain stock control, supplier relationships, and budget alignment
  • Prepare and cook meals to meet individual dietary needs, including texture-modified diets
  • Handle feedback and ensure resident satisfaction with meals and service

What You Bring

Essential:

  • Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent
  • Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Food Handling qualification
  • Strong experience in hospitality, ideally in volume food preparation
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.

Desirable:

  • Experience in residential aged care or healthcare settings
  • Medium-level computer literacy
  • A heart for working with older people and delivering service with empathy

Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 per annum (plus superannuation).
