Cleaning Services Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a casual Cleaning Services Assistant to join the team at Derwent Views in Hobart. This role supports the delivery of high-quality cleaning services, helping maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, staff and visitors.

You will work as part of a supportive services team, assisting with cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms and shared areas, maintaining hygiene standards and following infection control procedures. Your work will help create a welcoming environment where residents feel comfortable and cared for.

About You

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, aged care or a similar environment highly regarded.

• Genuine interest in working in aged care.

• Understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene and infection control practices.

• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and products.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage a varied workload and work as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work across different shifts.

• Current National Police Certificate.
