As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Working in a residential aged care setting, you’ll be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, shared living areas, and facilities, while consistently meeting high standards of hygiene and infection control. This is a casual position that requires a reliable and dependable team member with the flexibility to work weekends. We’re seeking someone who takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of creating a comfortable, home-like environment.

No two days are the same! As Cleaning Services Assistant, you will:

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lounges, dining rooms, corridors, and staff areas
• Safely handle, use, and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to workplace procedures
• Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines
• Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality standards

About You
