About the Role

RM Begg is a beautifully appointed aged care residence offering 90 spacious private rooms, each thoughtfully designed with expansive ensuites, built-in wardrobes, and convenient in-room amenities including telephones and high-speed internet. Our home provides a refined and welcoming environment, with a range of elegant private and semi-private indoor and outdoor spaces for residents and staff to enjoy. Surrounded by exquisite gardens, tranquil courtyards, and picturesque walking paths, RM Begg offers a peaceful and supportive setting — making it not only a wonderful place to live, but also a truly rewarding place to work.

We are seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our aged care team on a casual basis. This role requires flexibility and availability to cover planned and unplanned leave, providing essential support to ensure continuity of care for our residents.

In this position, you will work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and care staff to support clinical outcomes and monitor residents’ wellbeing, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment where dignity and respect guide everyday practice.

This is a rewarding opportunity to build genuine connections with residents and families while being part of a team that values professionalism, collaboration, and ongoing development. If you are adaptable, reliable, and committed to providing thoughtful, resident-focused care, we would love to hear from you.

No two days are the same! As an Enrolled Nurse you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive admission and ongoing assessments with residents and families to identify care needs and support individualised care planning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation that reflects care delivery and resident outcomes.
  • Administer medications safely and ensure correct handling, storage, and record-keeping.
  • Monitor residents’ health, report changes promptly to Registered Nurses, and support the care team in delivering safe, person-centred care.
  • Participate in team handovers, care planning discussions, and initiatives that promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.

About You

You’ll thrive with us if you have:

  • Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in aged care.
  • Strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to monitor, assess, and respond to changes in residents’ health.
  • Knowledge of residential care practices, care planning, clinical documentation, and the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
  • Understanding of aged care accreditation processes and a commitment to providing safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
  • Current National Police Certificate and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain), required immunisations, and a flexible, professional approach to shift work.

Perks & Benefits

  • As a not-for-profit you can reduce your tax by salary packaging up to $15,900 per year for living expenses, bills, rent, mortgage and groceries. Take advantage of a further $2,650 to pay for meals out or holiday accommodation
  • Training and development pathways
  • Supportive leaders who are onsite
  • A friendly, down-to-earth workplace
  • Opportunity to build a long-term career in aged care
