Working under the direction of the Chef/Cook, you will assist with food preparation, service and kitchen operations in line with our Food Safety Program (FSP). You’ll play an important role in ensuring meals are delivered safely, on time and with a friendly, resident-focused approach.
No two days are the same! As a Food Services Assistant, you will:
Assist with food preparation, serving and presentation in accordance with the FSP
Deliver meals and refreshments to residents in a friendly and timely manner
Support menu planning to meet residents’ individual needs and preferences
Complete cleaning and food safety monitoring tasks, including temperature checks
Report any food-related concerns regarding residents to the care team
You’ll thrive with us if you have:
Food Handling Certificate
Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
Understanding of food hygiene and infection control practices
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
