About the Role 

Daily life at Woodhaven is one of purpose and encouragement. Our kind and friendly team support residents with genuine compassion and care, creating an environment where every individual is respected, valued and encouraged to live life with dignity. Woodhaven is a close-knit community where staff work collaboratively to ensure residents feel safe, supported and truly at home.

Working under the direction of the Chef/Cook, you will assist with food preparation, service and kitchen operations in line with our Food Safety Program (FSP). You’ll play an important role in ensuring meals are delivered safely, on time and with a friendly, resident-focused approach.

• Assist with food preparation, serving and presentation in accordance with the FSP

• Deliver meals and refreshments to residents in a friendly and timely manner

• Support menu planning to meet residents’ individual needs and preferences

• Complete cleaning and food safety monitoring tasks, including temperature checks

• Report any food-related concerns regarding residents to the care team
