The Position

We are currently seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our team on a part-time weekend basis at our Maleny Erowal Residential Aged Care Facility in Queensland.

As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a key role in providing nutritious and enjoyable meals to our residents, contributing to their health, comfort, and overall wellbeing. This role involves meal preparation, food service, maintaining hygiene standards, and working closely with the broader care team to ensure the highest standards are met.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Previous experience in residential aged care, hospitality, or food services (preferred)

• A strong interest in supporting older Australians

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

A valid National Police Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) are required for this role.
