We are seeking an experienced Roaming Chef Supervisor to bring their culinary leadership to life across our aged care homes throughout regional NSW and Queensland.
This unique full-time role is perfect for a passionate and adaptable chef who loves variety, travel, and teamwork. You will move between our facilities, ensuring that every kitchen operates smoothly and that every resident enjoys delicious, nutritious, and beautifully presented meals, every day.
Lead and Inspire: Supervise and mentor kitchen teams, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service.
Deliver Exceptional Dining: Oversee meal preparation and service, ensuring menus meet dietary needs, resident preferences, and nutrition standards.
Collaborate with Care Teams: Work closely with General Managers, Registered Nurses, and Dietitians to maintain quality and compliance.
Plan and Create: Document recipes, plan menus, and cater for special occasions and cultural needs.
Ensure Safety & Compliance: Maintain the Food Safety Program, health regulations, and internal policies.
Manage Resources: Order supplies, monitor budgets, and manage staffing and rosters.
Drive Consistency: Travel regularly between facilities, supporting teams and ensuring excellence across all sites.
Engage Residents: Listen to feedback, adapt menus, and make dining a highlight of each day.
Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent qualification.
Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
Proven experience in kitchen management or chef supervision. Aged care experience highly regarded.
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and dietary requirements.
Full flexibility and willingness to travel across NSW and QLD.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
