About the Role

We are looking for a casual Food Services Cook / Food Services Assistant to join the team at St Ann’s in Hobart. This dual role supports the preparation and delivery of quality meals for residents in a caring aged care environment.

You will work as part of a supportive food services team, helping provide safe, nutritious and well-presented meals while supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

About You

• Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate preferable.
• Full availability from September to December inclusive.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in aged care desirable.
• Previous experience in food services, cooking or a similar kitchen environment.
• Genuine interest in working in aged care.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Current National Police Certificate.
