Are you a passionate and experienced cook looking to make a real impact in aged care? Respect Aged Care is seeking a dedicated Food Services Cook to join our hospitality team at Ingham Lodge in Ingham, Queensland.
This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering the stability of regular hours in a supportive, values-driven environment. Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends, is required.

About the Role
Reporting to the Chef Supervisor, the Food Services Cook is responsible for the preparation, cooking, and serving of nourishing, appetising, and visually appealing meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and comply with the Food Safety Program.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present high-quality meals that meet residents’ dietary and nutritional requirements.
Collaborate on menu planning with residents, dietitians, Registered Nurses, and the General Manager.
Monitor and report stock requirements to the Chef Supervisor.
Support the implementation and compliance of the Food Safety Program (FSP).
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
Order supplies in line with menu and budget requirements.
Plan and execute daily workloads independently and professionally.
Perform other related duties as directed.
Essential Requirements
Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent.
Food Handling Course.
Demonstrated experience in hospitality.
Experience cooking in aged care or large-scale settings.
Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain).
NDIS Check (or ability to obtain).
Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements.
