At Respect, technology plays an important role in helping our people deliver safe, connected and quality care. As an IT Integrations Officer, you’ll be part of the team responsible for bringing new and transitioning sites into our IT environment — making sure systems, infrastructure and people are ready for the change with as little disruption as possible.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working across different environments and seeing a project through from preparation to successful cutover.

About the Role

Every integration is different. You’ll work closely with the IT Integrations Lead, site teams, vendors and other IT specialists to help transition systems and infrastructure safely and consistently.

Your work will directly support our sites and the people who live and work in them. That means attention to detail, good judgement and a calm approach are essential — particularly when working in production environments or with elevated system access.

When you’re not working on integrations, you’ll join our broader IT Operations or Digital Solutions teams, contributing your skills wherever they’re needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the integration of new, transitioning and existing sites into Respect’s IT environment.
• Performing hands-on migration and configuration across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, servers, networking and end-user systems.
• Helping integrate existing nurse call systems into our IT environment.
• Following integration run sheets, cutover plans and rollback plans to ensure changes are safe and well managed.
• Working carefully within production systems, including environments requiring elevated privileges.
• Using and maintaining PowerShell scripts and automation to make integration activities consistent and repeatable.
• Coordinating with local IT vendors, site staff and remote resources.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, procedures and knowledge articles.
• Participating in change management, maintenance windows and post-implementation reviews.
• Providing backup support to the IT Integrations Lead when required.
• Travelling to Respect sites to deliver integration activities, including multi-day and occasionally multi-week trips.
• Providing on-call support for newly integrated sites when required, rather than participating in a standing on-call roster.
• Contributing to broader IT projects and initiatives.

About You

You’re a practical, hands-on IT professional who enjoys getting into the detail and figuring things out.

You’ll ideally bring experience in IT support, infrastructure or systems administration, along with an understanding of how technology environments fit together. Experience with migrations or integrations is valuable, but we’re also interested in people who have strong foundational IT skills and the willingness to develop.

You’ll bring:

• Hands-on experience in IT support, infrastructure or systems administration.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and end-user computing.
• Some scripting or automation experience, particularly PowerShell, or a genuine interest in developing these skills.
• A methodical and careful approach to working in production environments.
• The ability to follow documented processes and change management practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with vendors, site teams and internal IT colleagues.
• A current driver's licence and a genuine willingness to travel regularly, including multi-day and multi-week trips. The role involves approximately three months of travel per year, with the potential for more during busy periods.
• A current National Police Certificate, or the ability to obtain one.

• Aged care or another regulated environment
