About the Role
As a Laundry Services Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that our residents’ clothing and linen are clean, comfortable, and cared for, supporting both dignity and hygiene in our facility. You'll be part of a team that values excellence, respect, and compassion in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

• Label and care for resident personal clothing

• Handle soiled linen according to infection control standards

• Wash and store laundry safely and effectively

• Use laundry chemicals responsibly and maintain storage protocols

• Participate in our Infection Control Program and help maintain a clean, safe work environment

• Report linen replacement needs 

What You Bring

Essential:

• Experience in laundry practices

• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain)

Desirable:

• Previous experience in residential aged care

• Knowledge of chemical handling and safety procedures
