About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Maintenance Services Assistant to join our team at Wellington Views in Old Beach, Tasmania, supporting the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance across the facility’s buildings, equipment, vehicles and grounds.

What You’ll Do

Support preventative and corrective maintenance across the home.
Assist with asset registers, maintenance records and schedules.
Help maintain resident rooms, public areas, equipment and grounds.
Support refurbishment, equipment replacement and capital works planning.
Oversee external contractors and regular maintenance stock.
Ensure facility vehicles are clean, tidy and serviced as scheduled.
Perform on-call duties as directed by the General Manager.

What You’ll Bring

General maintenance and gardening experience.
Genuine interest in working in aged care.
Good communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to manage a varied workload.
Relevant trade background highly regarded, but not essential.
Current National Police Certificate.
