As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll play an important role in the everyday lives of our residents.
Working alongside our experienced clinical team, you’ll provide compassionate personal care and practical support while helping residents maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
Supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity and lifestyle.
Assisting with meals, refreshments and daily menu requirements.
Observing residents and recording relevant information accurately.
Reporting changes or concerns to the Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
Completing progress notes and relevant documentation.
Assisting with general ward duties as required.
Working collaboratively with the broader care team to provide high-quality resident care.
Carrying out other appropriate duties within your skills and experience as directed
Most importantly, we’re looking for people who genuinely care about people.
Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or a relevant qualification.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
Current National Police Certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
NDIS Worker Screening Check, or the ability to obtain one.
Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively as part of a team.
Previous experience working in residential aged care.
A genuine passion for supporting older people.
A positive, caring and respectful approach to your work.
All candidates must meet the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to be eligible for employment in the aged care sector.
