Personal Care Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for casual Personal Care Assistants to join the team at Cooinda in Lithgow. This role focuses on providing quality, person-centred care and supporting residents with their daily living needs in a welcoming aged care environment.

You will work as part of a supportive care team, assisting residents with personal care, mobility, meals and daily activities while promoting their independence, dignity and wellbeing. You will also work closely with the clinical team to ensure residents receive safe and compassionate care.

About You

• Relevant Certificate III qualification in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent.

• Previous experience in residential aged care highly regarded.

• Genuine interest in providing quality care to older Australians.

• Ability to assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate, patient and respectful approach to resident care.

• Ability to manage a varied workload and work as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work across a range of shifts.

• Current National Police Certificate.

• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
