About the Role
As a Personal Care Assistant at our Emerald Avalon facility, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care that promotes dignity, comfort, and independence for our residents. Working as part of a dedicated care team, you’ll help foster a supportive and compassionate environment every day. This is a part-time position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as grooming, dressing, and mobility

  • Flexibility to work across various shifts as required
  • Support residents with daily living activities, including meals and hydration

  • Observe and report any changes in residents’ health or wellbeing

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment

  • Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver individualised care plans

  • Build meaningful connections with residents, families, and the local community

What You Will Need

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification

  • Previous aged care experience (preferred)

  • Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

  • Current NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)

  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings

  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, reliable nature
