About the Role
As a Personal Care Assistant at our Emerald Avalon facility, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care that promotes dignity, comfort, and independence for our residents. Working as part of a dedicated care team, you’ll help foster a supportive and compassionate environment every day. This is a part-time position.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care tasks such as grooming, dressing, and mobility
Support residents with daily living activities, including meals and hydration
Observe and report any changes in residents’ health or wellbeing
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment
Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver individualised care plans
Build meaningful connections with residents, families, and the local community
What You Will Need
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
Previous aged care experience (preferred)
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, reliable nature
