About the Role

RM Begg is a beautifully appointed aged care residence offering 90 spacious private rooms, each thoughtfully designed with expansive ensuites, built-in wardrobes, and convenient in-room amenities including telephones and high-speed internet. Our home provides a refined and welcoming environment, with a range of elegant private and semi-private indoor and outdoor spaces for residents and staff to enjoy. No two days are the same! As Personal Care Assistant you will:

• Deliver high-quality personal care, supporting residents with daily activities while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Assist with meals, feeding, grooming, hygiene, mobility, and light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide companionship and encourage social and emotional engagement.
• Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any changes promptly, and help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team, communicating effectively and maintaining accurate, confidential care records.

About You

You’ll thrive with us if you have:

• Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent qualification).
• Current National Police Certificate and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable and committed, with a genuine passion for providing high-quality, person-centred care.
• Experience in residential aged care is highly desirable.
• Meet the legislative requirements for Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
