The Opportunity We are seeking an organised, proactive, and relationship-driven Procurement Officer to join our dedicated team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the procurement function across our network of aged care homes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, a passion for efficiency, and the ability to build great relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders alike.
What You Will Do
Provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement team.
Assist with tender processes, contract management, and supplier documentation.
Maintain supplier databases, preferred supplier lists, and integration programs.
Support sourcing, purchasing, and onboarding of new suppliers and products.
Liaise with internal teams to resolve procurement queries and provide purchasing guidance.
Monitor supplier performance and compliance documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement systems, policies, and procedures.
What You Will Bring
Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, accounts payable, or business administration.
Excellent time management and stakeholder relationship skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Experience in the aged care or not-for-profit sector.
Understanding of Accounts Payable principles and commercial acumen.
