The Opportunity: 

We're on the lookout for an experienced Learning and Development Officer with a clinical background. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering education resources for Respect.

Reporting to the Chief Quality and Risk Officer the role will include but not limited to developing and implementing best practise policies and process, monitoring and supporting management with education platform completion rates, deliver education – face to face and via teams, develop clinical education toolboxes and much much more.

Interstate travel will be required as part of this role.

Requirements:

Essential -

  • Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essential with current AHPRA.
  • Experience as an L&D educator, Training Manager or similar.
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Experience with instructional design in building online resources for use in Learning Management System.
  • Ability to foster a team environment and build collaborative relationships.
  • Highly effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
  • An understanding of Residents Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes.
  • NDIS Worker Screening certification.

Desirable -

  • Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Management experience within the Aged Care Sector.

To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
